Sweet Corn
Yay! The first round of sweet corn is 2-3 weeks away. This year we planted some white and yellow corn along with our Peaches and Cream bi-color.

Rain
Good news! We received 1.75 inches of gentle rain over the weekend. The moisture was very much needed and is already making a difference in the field.

Market
Continue to find us at Cherry Creek Wednesday and Saturday and Old South Pearl Street Sunday. We hope to be at Ft. Collins Old Town soon, and will attend Greeley at The Train Depot when sweet corn is ready in a few weeks. An assortment of fresh greens including kale, spinach, turnip greens, mustard greens and collards along with beets, zuchini, calabasitas, green beans, onions, garlic, dry beans and more will be available.

Prairie Fields Soap, CSA
Pricing on the local soap sampled out in CSA shares over the past few weeks is $4.25 per bar or 3 for $12. Orders can be delivered with shares on a monthly basis. All the soaps are locally handmade with moisturizing goat milk. They contain no petroleum or synthetic preservatives/chemicals and are great for sensitive skin. Cooler
LFF has been the very grateful recipient of a three door cooler. The cooler was donated by a local flower shop – thank you DJ’s! The extra storage space will be very helpful, and the cooler will also allow for more effecient after harvest cool-down extendeding our harvesting window.
