When our email account was hacked on April 10th the hacker also changed our account settings so that
your replies to emails sent from us were automatically forwarded to a “fake” email set up by the hackers (lefflerfarms@live.com). This just came to our attention today (5/15). It is very upsetting to know that we have missed important emails from you during this time.
If you are missing a response to an email you have sent us (from 4/10-today, 5/15) please re-send so we can properly reply.
We will also be going through our sent emails and contacting people personally in cases where we strongly suspect to have missed a reply.
Now that our email settings have been made correct again, your responses will come to our correct address. However, please note, replies to emails we sent prior to fixing this today will still populate reply to the incorrect (live.com) address.
I didn’t even know this was an option through Yahoo. Settings > Mail Options > Mail Accounts and there it is!
It is our intent to change our email account in the near future to help secure us against any further issues, and we will keep you all posted.
